Dallas Tippet
Dallas Tippet is a baritone finishing his studies at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Graduation Certificate. Throughout his studies, Tippet has gained experience in opera, oratorio, pedagogy and numerous concert performances. He has performed several opera roles, including Earl Mountararat in Iolanthe, Gianni Schicchi in the Queensland Griffith Conservatorium’s production of Gianni Schicchi in September, 2024, and Polyphemus in Springboard Opera's production of Acis and Galatea in October 2024.
He has received numerous awards, including the Elizabeth Muir Undergraduate Award (2019), the Wagner Society of Queensland Encouragement Award (2023) and the John and Sue Thompson Scholarship (2024). In addition to his performance experience, Tippet has also received professional training and participated in professional development workshops and programs such as the Lisa Gasteen National Opera Program (2022, 2023) and the Cuskelly School of Music Summer School (2023, 2024) under Raymond Connell and Shaun Brown.
Tippet also has experience with Cathedral work, currently undertaking a Choral Singing Scholarship under the guide of Barbara Tate at St Andrews Uniting Church. Tippet is a confident and dedicated performer who is eager to continue developing his skills and pursuing his passion for music overseas in the near future.
